The only type of direct mail I've ever had success with has been with handwritten letters. In the real estate investing world, they are known as "yellow letters". I've worked for years trying to figure out a way to produce bulk mailings with what appears to be handwritten letters. The response rate is infinitely better than sending printed letters or postcards. This is a great middle-ground solution. Quality is great, not a huge learning curve, and it is easy to work with. So much better than other plotters I've tried to use in the past with nightmarish software requirements. Only downside being you still need to be close by and swap out paper or envelopes every minute or so, but it at least allows you to do some other work while it is writing. Highly recommend. I also ordered an iAuto, so I'm excited to get things fully automated!
